On our trip back from Velez Blanco, we took advantage of the sunshine to visit a horse and buggy event in Cartegena. The Port, itself, was busy for a Sunday afternoon but the approach was fairly clear of traffic, apart from a line of vehicles pulled onto the side of the dual carriage way and the sound of horse and carts and chattering passengers.

Although it was all too short a look round, somewhat confused by a profusion of no entry signs and one way streets, I look forward to visiting the Port properly when we have more time to spend.
